DSFlex ("we," "us," "our") makes the DSFlex ECA ethanol content analyzer hardware and its companion mobile app ("the App"). This policy explains how the App handles information.

Summary

The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to us or to any third party. All sensor data and app settings stay on your device.

Data We Collect

None. We do not operate any server, and the App does not send any information over the internet. We do not collect your name, email address, location, usage analytics, or any other personal information.

Bluetooth Use

The App uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) for one purpose only: to connect directly to your paired DSFlex sensor hardware and read ethanol percentage and fuel temperature values. This connection is local, device-to-device — no sensor data is transmitted to us or stored anywhere outside your phone.

Data Stored On Your Device

The App saves your preferences (units, default tank size, calculator settings) locally on your device using standard iOS/Android app storage. This data never leaves your device, is not accessible to us, and is deleted automatically if you uninstall the App.

Third Parties

We do not use analytics services, advertising networks, or crash-reporting tools that collect personal data. We do not share, sell, or disclose any information to third parties, because we do not collect any in the first place.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, regardless of age.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
